P�lse

Hot Dogs are often included on the list of things American, but I believe the Norwegians have beaten us on this one. If there is a National Norwegian food it is the P�lse (hot dog). Not Salmon or Shrimp. Or anything even remotely exotic, such as Reindeer or Lutefisk. Just P�lse. They are everywhere and are often the only thing available (other than ice cream, but that's another post).
