scratching items off of listsScratching Items Off of Lists

I have installed yet another piece of software on my prosthesis — End Note. Scholars will know about this bit of magic. I wish I had found out about it much earlier. I have started building a few bibliographies for classes, research, writings and I’m not sure how I have lived without it. It can connect directly to library databases, do searches, and suck in the info. I haven’t typed a word in yet!

I have a million things to do before we leave for Norway on Monday. Organizing to be away for two months is much more complicated than for two weeks. We have to meet deadlines and get everything done while having the little Cyborg at home full time. We’re also trying to get together with as many of our friends as we can before we leave. The Festival of Arts & Ideas begins this weekend and we have to squeeze in some Father’s day celebrations.

After Monday, I will be posting less frequently – probably twice a week, but the posts will be longer. (...and hopefully more thoughtful and interesting...) I’ll have much more time to read, write, and ruminate. Ahhhh, life on the fjord...
