Well, I have been posting to my course weblog... but it doesn't count in the same way somehow. I have really slipped into a world of overwhelm. It is one of my own creation, mind you. I chose to have a child, I chose to take an academic position, I chose to write more books, I chose to commit to more of my personal art, etc. Right now I am in the middle of preparation for my �Third Year Review� as a faculty member. This requires that I create a thorough dossier of everything thing I have done in the past three years in three areas: Teaching, Service, and Research. Even though I have been collecting and noting all this material over the past year, it is quite a large undertaking. It must be collected, printed, indexed, and bindered. The book of me. Well, the academic me, anyway.

I have so many commitments, meetings, tasks, parenting issues, class preps, and so on, that I have to fight complete paralysis... So, if posts are spotty of the next couple of weeks, this is a very brief version of why.
