There is an excellent tiny exhibtion at the Bienecke Rare Books and Manuscripts Library of renaissance pop-up books. Here's a page from one of the books on view. If you look carefully you can see the flaps that hide and reveal parts of the body and images on the page. I squeezed in a peek last week and took some great photos for my own reference.
