The Belly is back. I have not chromed it yet and I am overcome by the beauty of it in its current state. I am thinking about doing a series of portraits of women wearing it (mothers, grandmothers, child-free women, etc.) before I finish making it into a Cyborg costume.

It is a kind of fiberglass casting, so it's like a hard shell or armour. I didn't want to do rubber (which would actually be heavier) because then I couldn't paint it a shiny silver chrome. I am looking for just the right silver unitard to wear under it once it is chromed. And then of course I already have the silver latex wig (see sidebar) and silver makeup.

Now I am thinking about making a Venus of Willendorf costume for my �History of the Cyborg� presentations. This would have to be made of rubber or stuffed and sculpted fabric of some sort...
